The Holy Royal Arch are looking to drive recruitment from the craft members. The Holy Royal Arch of the Province of East Lancashire approached us to create a responsive, multi-device platform that would interact with new and existing members as well as answering questions of Freemasons who are interested in joining. The accessible forum that needed to sit in line with the digital identity of the Province. There was no digital platform currently in place, meaning the new website needed to act as a source of important information, along with providing up and coming meeting dates and Chapter information.
User Experience formed the focus of the project, making the website accessible to users of all digital abilities. Providing ways to easily search and ask specific questions about the order, find meeting locations through Google Maps and update pre-existing meeting data.
A bespoke build using a Content Management System based on WordPress was used to dynamically manage the main content of the website and forum. Additionally, we developed a custom backend add-on to allow the forums Administrators to manage the Chapter details, meeting information and produce extensive digital and printable reports, along with real time rendering graphs from the entered data.
The forum launched and received a welcoming response by the members of the Royal Arch, serving as an external platform from the rest of the digital infrastructure of the Province.
The content rich forum has been designed to educate and inform its members, serving as their ‘go-to’ digital platform, as an easy to use, accessible source of information.
