Little Chef has been one of the UK’s most recognisable roadside eateries for over 50 years, first opening its doors in 1958 – the same year Britain got its first motorway.
The brand has continued to evolve over the years, but always keeping ‘Charlie’ the friendly faced mascot at the forefront of everything they do.
Little Chef approached We Are Creation during a recent rebrand to design and develop a brand new, responsive website to help reach their valued customers wherever they are, whatever the device.
One main requirement for the new website was to easily show customers the location of their nearest Little Chef. We achieved this by utilising location services to pinpoint a customer’s position and showing their location via Google Maps, along with contact details for the specific Little Chef.
The fully responsive website means that it can be viewed clearly on whichever mobile device, tablet, laptop or desktop computer a customer is using, whilst maintaining content even on the smallest screen size.
Little Chef’s digital presence has been brought up-to-date, providing a valuable source of information and promotional material. The website receives a high amount of traffic each month and has been well received by both Little Chef and their customers alike.
