When it comes to redesigning your website in 2015, remember to go responsive or you will miss out on the potential mobile traffic. An estimated total of 1.9 billion internet users will choose to use their mobile or tablet device this year in favour of their traditional desktop or laptop and those figures will only go up. It’s never been more important for your business to have a responsive website.
Responsive design comes highly recommended as well, Google recommends that you go responsive because it makes it far easier and more efficient for Google to crawl, index, and organise your website content, they state that responsive web design is now the industry best practice, and remember if Google likes it then your search positions can only prosper.
The last couple of years has seen responsive design solidify itself as the new industry standard, with Responsive Frameworks like Twitter’s Bootstrap and Zurb’s Foundation giving developers a standard skeleton in which to create the building blocks for your website.
So if there is one New Year’s resolution you should make in 2015 it’s to revamp that old and outdated website and go responsive!
